Applicable Standard: IRC:SP:69-2011
Compression seal joint uses a preformed cellular elastomeric seal held under compression between vertical steel edge armor on either side of the gap, as per IRC:SP:69-2011, sealing the joint against water ingress while permitting the design movement.
